HIGH POINT — Lillian August, a Sherrill Furniture brand specializing in signature upholstery and case goods for the luxury market, will celebrate a move to Sherrill’s newly renovated and expanded showroom space in time for High Point Market.

In addition, the company is featuring one of its largest introductions for the brand, including 30 case goods designs, 14 new upholstery additions and 17 new outdoor furniture pieces. “This Market’s collection boasts a myriad of fine fabrics and an eclectic mix of timeless designs and modern forms, celebrating a golden age of decorating,” said Lillian August.

Other milestones to be celebrated are the 15-year anniversary of licensing with Sherrill and Lillian August’s third generation of management. Dan Weiss, Lillian’s son, has been a co-founder of the brand, and now the company is welcoming the addition of Lillian’s granddaughter, Eliza Weiss.

The company’s new collections at High Point will include Round Top. According to Dan Weiss, co-founder, “Round Top is a curated collection of some of our favorite forms and finishes, that we plan to expand on for many years to come.”

Round Top Vintage showcases antique reproduction forms in relaxed oak finishes. Several new vintage-inspired leather frames are mixed with woven fabrics and neutral hues. The Oakley series includes occasional and dining tables and is inspired by turn of the century French country antiques with deep-toned distressed oak. The Oakley series also features the Austin sectional, a mid-century European modern, modular lounger featured in a hand distressed leather. The Ace chair is in the 1920s French deco style The new Leo sofa and Broderick bustle back sofa, in vintage distressed leather, boast vintage chic styling. The Houston bedroom group, in natural oak with burnished brass and soap stone reflects European country furniture.

Other collections include:

  • Hollywood Regency – A modern interpretation of classic Hollywood glamour features an eclectic mix of deep reds mixed with marigold and pops of metallic. Introductions include the mid-century, Italian inspired Maeve chest. Custom wood and color finishes are available throughout the LA Workshop program. Featured for elegant dining is a classic black, white and gold dining room. The new Bellagio curved sectional is featured in smokey gray velvet, paired with the new Dalia swivel chair for a deco modern statement. Greens and pinks offer a whimsical viewpoint.
  • Iconics – Inspired by archival, mid-century designs, Iconics now includes the Andre collection. A Brazilian modern occasional group, it features cocktail and end tables in rosewood, with a black smoked mirror top. In addition, the Elena collection now includes a console table and desk, featuring a white sycamore finish with gold accents.
  • Regency – The Regency features soft purple and pink bedroom furniture with touches of silver that revolve around the new Josephine cocktail table with thick silver-plated legs, brass in-lays and a glass inset top.
  • Palm Beach – The Palm Beach bedroom uses greens and pinks. The Rose collection is a sophisticated interpretation of Art Deco-styled designs. The mixed material etagere and chest are constructed with a combination of raffia, linen and brass.
  • Modern Living – Modern Living focuses on azure with pops of marigold yellow colors. The Hamptons Coastal Blues collection is updated with a denim-hued sectional and bright white accent pieces, paired with chinoiserie accessories and patterns.
  • Lillian August Outdoor – Introductions include the Azul seating group, a mix of cane and teak in a modern shelter form for both interior and exterior design. The Hendrix table group is a mix of teak and concrete that also works for both indoor and outdoor decorating. The Hermosa series now includes sectional pieces and a swivel chair option for the Hamptons Coastal collection.
