Dan Co-founded the company with his mother Lillian August in 1988. Since that time Dan has filled a variety of roles, including CEO for more than 20 years. In that time, he led the company’s branding and marketing efforts, driving more than 2 billion in retail sales through Lillian August industry leading vertical platform; which includes retail, e-commerce and licensing. Most recently, Dan heads the company’s rapidly expanding licensing business, along with Lillian and his daughter Eliza. Dan, who started his career in finance, has a degree in Economics  and Political Science  from Hampshire Collage.
